Explanation: a) The quoted line was uttered by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of the Nation, in context to the Liberation War of Bangladesh. Through this line, he expressed, the innate desire of all the Bangladeshis to be free from the then oppression of the West Pakistani rulers. 


b) As per the passage, a country can get economic, political and cultural freedom by including all its states in the national assembly, drafting a constitution considering everyone, and building the country accordingly.. 


c) 1966 is important for us because in this year, the epoch-making six-point movement was launched, eventually leading to a political massacre with the martyrdom of many students and participants. 


d) The 'twenty-three tragic years' as mentioned refers to the timeline starting after the birth of Pakistan to the liberation war period of Bangladesh (1948-1971). The period is termed as tragic because of the unwavering struggle of our people for equal rights which eventually led to the pledge for liberation/emancipation, marked by oppression and bloodshed.
