b. The name Kuakata comes from the story of ‘Kua’— or well dug on the seashore by the early Rakhaine settlers for collecting drinking water.
c. Kuakata is one of the unique spots, which allows the visitors to watch and enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset from the beach. It also has sandy beaches, blue sky and the shimmering expanse of water. These unique characteristics of Kuakata make it an attractive tourist spot.
