Corruption is a widespread problem in Bangladesh. The judiciary is not free from it . It is generally believed that the judiciary is significantly involved in corruption. In some cases , although judges in Bangladesh are not involved in corruption , the lawyers or court staff demand bribes for the judges and keep them for themselves .It is likely that court staff may receive bribes from both sides of cases without the knowledge of other party .
